The Path to Integration Academy
Hej!
My name is Veenda. Seventeen years ago, I moved to Sweden, beginning a transformative journey.
In 2023, I earned a Master's degree in Sustainability, Entrepreneurship, and Technology from Vienna University and Tomorrow University of Applied Sciences. This experience sparked my interest in the stories of others who, like me, moved for love, knowledge, and opportunity. Rather than being discouraged by their challenges, I felt inspired.
My research revealed the obstacles faced by foreign-born women in Sweden, such as language barriers, limited social networks, and qualification validation issues. With the support of mentors and family, I decided to take action and create meaningful change.
This led to the founding of Integration Academy Ängelholm, which grew from my thesis project into a tangible initiative.
